Board an Argosy charter for Blake Island which is nestled between Vashon and Bainbridge Islands approximately 8 miles off the Seattle waterfront. Enjoy the magnificent scenery offered by Elliott Bay, majestic Mt. Rainier, and Alki Point's red and white lighthouse that marks the birthplace of Seattle while en route to Blake Island.
Upon arrival, savor steamed clams in lightly seasoned nectar; then enter the great cedar longhouse for an award winning salmon buffet. Tillicum Village salmon is cooked over open alderwood fires on cedar stakes in the ancient Northwest Coast Native American style.
Following dinner, enjoy a spellbinding stage presentation, "Dance on the Wind", highlighting a sampling of the traditional dances, myths and legends of the Northwest Coast Native Americans in a magical and unforgettable setting.
- The Banquet will begin by assembling at the Sheraton Towers hotel lobby at 5PM Wednesday evening.
- Bus transportation will be provided to Pier 55.
- Cruise ships will transport delegates to Tillicum Village in Blake Island Marine State Park.
- All passengers must be accounted for on this boat trip.
- The Banquet Menu:
Baked salmon, warm Tillicum Sweet Molasses bread, red new potatoes, seasoned mix of wild and white rice, fresh salad bar, and a Boehm's chocolate molded in the shape of a salmon.
- Delegates will board the boats at Blake Island Marina at 9:30PM and return to the Pier 55 at 10:30PM.
- Buses will transport delegates back to the Sheraton Towers Hotel
